Crazy Days

Well, it has been crazy here the past month. In the beginning of March, Cody was hit by a truck while riding his bike here in the trailer park. He is okay. Most of the damage to Cody's left leg was done by the bike. He was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital because of the trauma unit they have there. No broken bones, but they had to bring in 2 plastic surgeons to reconstruct his leg. He spent one night in the hospital and then was able to come home the next day. I spent the night with him in the hospital. He was a trooper through the whole thing.

Harley turned 10 years old this month as well. We had a birthday party at a park for him. He invited his classmates. Quite a few of them showed up. He had so much fun.

Later this month after Cody returned to school he was awarded Student of the Month at school, for Citizenship. We are so proud of him and all that he has accomplished in such a short time at home and at school.

His teacher Miss. Valente has been so awesome with him.

Phoebe found the blue highlighter again!!

I am starting a new term at school tomorrow. Excited for a fresh start with my studies, it was a rough six months. I started a paranormal research group as well. I love the unexplained and paranormal. We are not out looking for trouble just looking for explanations and possibilities. Looking forward to learning and helping. We do have a website Desert Moon Paranormal Society please visit and let me know what you think.

As, I finish this post Piper has been hard at work with her Pre-K book we got from Wal-Mart. She is so smart!

I am off to spend some time with the girls.

Taking a Break...

Taking a break from school work.... I am sitting here with the girls, Scooby Doo 2 playing on the front tv and Care Bears movie playing on the back tv. Curtis has gone out to my parents' house to help my dad fix the roof on the kennels. The boys are back in school. They go to a charter school and are doing very well. Hang on Mommy duty calls, Care Bears is now on the front tv and Monster House in the back.

I haven't posted since we moved back to Arizona the first of November. So here goes...

We packed up after Halloween and headed back to Phoenix, not before the kids enjoyed some of their Halloween candy.

We then loaded up in the RV and were on our way.

I of course I have add another picture of Phoebe trying to fit in something that wasn't meant for sitting.... remember the store Yellow Front??? Well, my grandparents have a shopping basket they found at a yard sale once and keep filled with toys when the grand kids visit and this is Phoebe!!

We made it back in town for the State Fair. The kids had a blast!!

Ok so maybe there were a few moments of pure fear!!!

Now, if anyone really knows Piper, seeing her sit down to have her hair curled with a curling iron is a rare performance so I had to make sure to capture it for prosperity.

One of the guys from the satellite companies dressed up like Spongebob, while we waited for our order to be entered the kids got a picture.

My great-grandma turned 100 in November! We were so excited to make it to the party. Unfortunately for me, I had no hairdryer or straight iron yet, it was still all packed. But I guess that doesn't matter as much as being able to be there and have our pictures taken with her.

Phoebe knows how to make her presence known....

My very best friend Sabrina came by for a visit and this is her little girl Sophia. There are no words to tell how adorable she is.

Cody got to spend the weekend with Uncle Paul and Aunt Belinda. This was them stopping by after church.

Christmas morning was fun. They all got what they wanted.

The kids celebrating New Years before the sun went down. They couldn't wait to use the party favors.

Another snapshot of Phoebe's handi-work. Isn't she so pretty??????

We had a nice storm come through not too long ago and when I was rounding up the kids before it really hit I saw this beautiful rainbow and had to take a picture.

And, last but not least our newest member of the family....

Interesting Updates

A lot has happened since my last post. So, let me think how should I get everything out? Maybe I will categorize them by subject:

Phoebe is coming into her own. She now is climbing on things and getting into closed rooms, turning on and off lights. I now have to lock doors cause she figured that one out.

I made an apron out of an old crib skirt. I am working on a cute dress for Piper with it as well, just need to put the zipper in. But here is the before and after picture.

We sold the 10 puppies that Gabby had. That was a relief, so much poop!

I started school finally!

The kids did some painting.

Piper's was the blue elephant, Cody's was the tiger, Harley had the parrot and I had the silver hippo.

Oh and we are moving back to Phoenix! We bought an RV and will be staying with a friend.

We are planning to leave here on the 1st of November so the kids can get trick-or-treating in before we head out. We have pretty much sold everything to minimize our stuff. Curtis is transferring to the Wal-Mart in Scottsdale. We will be in Phoenix for at least 6 months if not longer. We are definitely going to have to get a Table Mesa trip in!! If all goes well and if my plan works we will be able to do a little travelling before we settle down on our property in northern Nevada, which we are still going to do.

Laundry Day!!! We sold our washer and dryer so we have to go to the laundry mat and of course this is all Curtis had left to wear, but thought it was adorable so had to add it in there.

The kids have decorated for Halloween, we really couldn't do a lot because we are leaving the next day but here is their window. Not sure about Harley's eyes, I tried to fix the red eye but it just got worse, still a cute picture though.

Cody turned 8 on the 16th, we had a small party for him. Surprisingly though my parents showed up in Las Vegas and we were able to celebrate with them.

Phoebe was enjoying the frosting.

Phoebe wouldn't get in the picture.

I found this picture of Phoebe the other day and just can't believe how fast she has grown.

More to come, I will post Halloween pictures soon.

Latest Happenings

had my hysterectomy on September 3rd. The first four days were pretty bad and was in a lot of pain. But it got better each day. I just have to say Curtis is a wonderful man. He stayed home with me and the kids and took care of us. He got up in the middle of the night when I needed him or with the kids or the puppies. I love you baby more than you will ever know.

Piper celebrated her 5th birthday on the 8th of September, we had a cake for her and she pretty much had run of the house for the day. We did not do much since I was still healing and was running a bad fever that day. The night before we took her shopping and she picked out some really cute girl clothes. Anyone who knows her, you know that it is hard to get her into girl clothes. But she picked them out and looked cute.

Okay, so the clothes are a tad big on her but she will grow into them.

Phoebe after her piece of birthday cake.

We also celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary on the 19th. Curtis brought be home some flowers and a cake.

I am looking forward to many more years with him.
